India Couture week

All that fashion enthusiasts and trend of the city will no doubt be aware of the HDIL India Couture Week held recently in Mumbai at the Grand Hyatt. The event was a show with Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, Manish Malhotra, Varun Bahl, Manav Gangwani, Suneet Verma showing their collection of wedding and wedding. And what is particularly interesting to note that velvet is back and with a bang too!



Kareena and Saif walked the ramp for Manish Malhotra, while Shruti Hassan and Zayed Khan walked for Manav Gangwani. Imran Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Shahrukh Khan and Gauri Khan walked the ramp for Karan Johar. Katrina Kaif, Ajay Devgun, Saif Ali Khan, Akshay Kumar, Aamir Khan, Salman, Arbaaz and Sohail Khan Sanjay Dutt also walked the ramp for 'Human Being' on HDIL Couture Week.



Many critics said the haute couture week in India was very high in the least glamorous and high fashion, yet the little that was helped fashion lovers to learn about current trends and what to expect in this upcoming wedding season.



It was not until the fashion designer Monica Jaising who came up with a fresh collection of bustier dresses and fishnet outfits for haute couture line, otherwise most of them glued to wedding gowns. Hard work zardosi in transparent saris blouses combined with velvet and gold borders seems to be the mantra for this fall. I particularly liked the collection of the Manav Gangwani as perfectly highlight the item entitled "An Affair impetuous. I also like Manish Malhotra collection but I thought it was too low capacity.
